This is my blog which will follow me on my journey to discover the beetles that live in Sussex. The beetle in the picture is a cardinal beetle, Pyrochroa serraticornis and comes from the family Pyrochoroidae. This one was taken at Warnham Local Nature reserve where they are quite common along the hedgerows and can be seen from May to July.
